La iglesia Presbiteriana contribuye disminuyendo brecha digital en la institución Educativa el Carmen de Saiza.

Abstract

La presente investigación se ha propuesto identificar cómo han contribuido las iniciativas de la iglesia Presbiteriana de Saiza a la Junta de Acción Comunal para mejorar la calidad de la educación mediante la disminución de la brecha digital en la Institución educativa el Carmen del Corregimiento de Saiza. Nuestro enfoque fue cualitativo dado que se basó en la cotidianidad de un colectivo, la metodología utilizada fue Investigación Acción Participativa. Desde esta metodología, nuestra investigación se propone vincular y fortalecer los lazos entre agentes sociales que hacen presencia en la Colombia rural como la Iglesia Presbiteriana y la Junta de Acción Comunal para trabajar en los intereses comunes y complementarios como lo son las necesidades en materia de conectividad y brecha digital en la Institución Educativa el Carmen de Saiza. Finalmente, se realizó un trabajo de campo con diferentes integrantes de la comunidad educativa mediante entrevistas abiertas y semiestructuradas para identificar las necesidades tecnológicas, definiendo desafíos y proponiendo acciones. El conocimiento constructivo que propone nuestra metodología ha permitido resultados evidentes disminuyendo así la brecha digital en esta Institución.

The present investigation has proposed to identify how the initiatives of the Presbyterian Church of Saiza have contributed to the Community Action Board to improve the quality of education by reducing the digital divide in the Educational Institution El Carmen of the Corregimiento of Saiza. Our approach was qualitative since it was based on the daily life of a group, the methodology used was Participatory Action Research. From this methodology, our research aims to link and strengthen the ties between social agents that are present in rural Colombia such as the Presbyterian Church and the Community Action Board to work on common and complementary interests such as connectivity needs and digital divide at the Carmen de Saiza Educational Institution. Finally, field work was carried out with different members of the educational community through open and semi-structured interviews to identify technological needs, defining challenges and proposing actions. The constructive knowledge proposed by our methodology has allowed evident results, thus reducing the digital divide in this Institution.
