Actitud Social de Estudiantes de Secundaria y Estilos de Socialización Parental con Padres Separados y Divorciados

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación fue identificar si existen diferencias significativas en las actitudes sociales de estudiantes de secundaria de acuerdo con los estilos de socialización parental entre padres/madres separados o divorciados e hijos. El diseño corresponde a un trabajo de tipo comparativo de grupos simples, enfoque cuantitativo y corte transversal. Se evaluó a 177 estudiantes entre los 11 a 18 años de diferentes colegios de la ciudad de Barranquilla, en el caso de las actitudes sociales de los estudiantes se utilizó el AECS —Actitudes y Estrategias Cognitivas y Sociales— y para el caso de las estrategias de socialización parental se empleó el ESPA-29. Los resultados demostraron que en general las madres tienen un perfil indulgente, mientras los padres lo comparten con el negligente. Las actitudes sociales que prevalecen son las prosociales, específicamente los niveles de seguridad y firmeza cambia en torno al afecto, indiferencia, privación que provea la madre y la sensibilidad social y la apatía-retraimiento son diferentes sobre las expresiones de coerción verbal, aceptación/implicación y coerción/imposición que muestre el padre.

The objective of this research was to identify if there are significant differences in the social attitudes of secondary school students according to the styles of parental socialization between separated or divorced parents and children. The design corresponds to a work of comparative type of simple groups, quantitative approach and cross-section. 177 students between the ages of 11 and 18 from different schools in the city of Barranquilla were evaluated. In the case of the students' social attitudes, the AECS was used — Cognitive and Social Attitudes and Strategies— and in the case of parental socialization strategies, ESPA-29 was used. The results showed that in general the mothers have an indulgent profile, while the parents share it with the negligent. The social attitudes that prevail are the prosocial ones, specifically the levels of security and firmness changes around the affection, indifference, deprivation provided by the mother and social sensitivity and apathy-withdrawal are different about the expressions of verbal coercion, acceptance / implication and coercion / imposition that the father shows.
