Librería de sonidos virtuales de la Marimba de Pierna. Un instrumento del Caribe Colombiano en vía de Extinción.

Abstract

El presente trabajo investigativo se realizó con el objetivo de conocer más acerca del instrumento colombiano y qué está en vía de extinción llamado Marimba de Pierna, y a su vez crear una biblioteca de samples donde se encuentren una serie de los sonidos, y notas musicales emitidos por cada lamina de este y a su vez los ritmos que en dicho instrumento se pueden interpretar, desarrollando esto por medio de grabaciones que se harán utilizando capturas con distintas técnicas de grabación y de edición de audio, usados en la producción musical moderna. Es de gran importancia para mí como percusionista y estudiante de música la conservación de este instrumento y de su legado, ya que hace parte de la cultura de mi país y de la región del atlántico, es de esa polémica de dónde nace la idea de este trabajo.

The present investigative work has been carried out with the objective of learning more about the Colombian instrument and what is in danger of extinction called the Marimba de Pierna, and in turn creating a library of samples where a series of sounds are found, and musical notes emitted for each sheet of this and in turn the rhythms that can be interpreted on said instrument, developing this through recordings that will be made using captures with different recording and audio editing techniques, used in modern musical production. The conservation of this instrument and its legacy is of great importance to me as a percussionist and music student, since it is part of the culture of my country and of the Atlantic region, it is from this controversy that the idea of this was born.
