| spa |
| dc.description.abstract | This degree project presents HIDEON, a collaborative social networking platform designed to connect students and professionals, streamlining team formation and management for academic and professional projects. The proposal addresses the fragmentation of current digital tools, which impairs the seamless transition from idea generation to collaborator identification, communication, and project execution. The system's architecture relies on a modern stack composed of React, TypeScript, Supabase, and PostgreSQL, complemented by Supabase Realtime and WebSockets for synchronous communication, Cloudflare R2 for file storage, and Render.com for deployment. The development process followed the Extreme Programming (XP) agile methodology, incorporating continuous integration practices, security testing, and functional validation. HIDEON features user authentication, profile management, idea publication, team structuring, real-time messaging, and the transformation of initial concepts into consolidated projects. Furthermore, Row Level Security (RLS) policies were implemented to protect user data and ensure strict access control. The results confirmed the technical and functional feasibility of the platform. During the pilot phase, HIDEON reached 151 registered users and achieved response times below 150 ms for real-time interactions. Additionally, the implemented architecture enhanced system scalability, security, and cost efficiency. In conclusion, HIDEON serves as an effective technological solution to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and bridge the gap between academic environments and the professional sector. | eng |
